Construction and Utilities Career Day is designed to show high school students the career opportunities and potential for growth in the construction and utility trades. The event is about Youth, Industry & Partnership. The event will take place at:

Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB)

500 East Fourth Avenue -  Eugene, Oregon

The next event is scheduled for Thursday, September 27, 2018.  Up to 450 local high school students are expected to attend and receive a hands-on introduction to the range of opportunities open to them in the construction and utilities industry.

Come make positive connections with high schools students.  Many are ready to take the next steps to build a career in the trades and your participation is vital!  With the strong need for future workers, it is important for students to consider the trades as a viable, living wage career.  Construction and Utilities Career Days is designed to do just that by showcasing a friendly, exciting, and professional industry that cares about them and their future. The day will be filled with hands-on activities that educate young people about the industry by providing fun, hands-on learning opportunities, and giving them the chance to apply what they are learning in their high school classrooms to real life situations.
